Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have 12+ years of nannying experience helping many families transition into life with a new a baby. I especially enjoy supporting new mothers with breastfeeding issues. I also have experience with cloth diapering and baby-wearing. As a former group fitness instructor, she’s ready to cheer you on during this special time!

What led you to become a Doula?: My recent experiences with supporting close friends postpartum reminded how much I love and miss doing this work.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

“When Abby met my daughter at 2.5 months old she noticed how fussy and unsettled my baby was, noting that her neck seemed to be restricted in movement, and her flat spot on her head.
Up until this point, I saw 3 lactation specialists about our nursing issues- 2 in hospital and 1 within the first couple weeks of babies life. No one mentioned her neck being the culprit.
I showed the flat spot to the pediatrician at 2 months old and she told me not to worry about it until 4 months.
She started going to the chiropractor at 3 months and became a much happier baby.
