Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have my Master in Criminal Justice-Forensic Psychology and prior to becoming a Doula I worked with individuals with opioid addiction as their counselor. I really enjoyed working with pregnant woman in particular during my time as a substance abuse counselor.
What led you to become a Doula?: My own pregnancies and birth experiences lead me to want to become a doula. I experienced first hand the importance of having a doula versus not having one.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I am dedicated to my clients and their needs. knowledgeable about birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.
