Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Nanny for multiple years, RYT-yoga certified teacher
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been fascinated by birth. It amazes me what a woman’s body can do. This fascination naturally drove me to self-research and learning about women’s anatomy, fertility, and the birth process. In my studies, I stumbled across the role that a doula plays in the birth process and was sold. As a yoga teacher, I realize the need for a space where people can feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident with their body and in their practice. The same goes for the birth process. I love the role a doula plays in seeing babies brought into the world by confident and affirmed mothers. My desire is to give support so a mother can have the best birth experience possible.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I have been told that I have a calming voice and presence. I have also been told that I am affirming, encouraging, cheerful, organized, kind, intuitive, and thorough.

What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: want to provide a space where the new mom can feel like she made every best choice possible and was well-informed during the entire process. That she can feel confident in every decision that she made and will make moving forward. I want to help her to lay the foundation, to create a launching pad, to help her to take the best steps forward into motherhood. I want to be there for the new mom in any way that she might need.
