Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Being an artist has taught me to be flexible and adaptable. Having my son has brought so much joy, patience and respect for the whole world.
What led you to become a Doula?: Birth is the beginning of life! This idea has been a topic I’ve been interested in for many years before I experienced birth myself. It is so powerful and the primal act of any human being. There is nothing like it. After I had my son it was clear that I wanted to be an active part of the birth profession.

What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: I love to read all sorts of books, blogs, articles on all philosophies. There is something to learn from every perspective. If I had to name a few it would be. Bringing Home Bebe, Birth Partner, Breastfeeding Made Simple, Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Baby, Ina May Gaskin’s books, and Unconditional Parenting by Alfie Kohn.
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: Time stops, Purity, Joy, Excitement, Love
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Zero judgment, and 100% support in whatever her choices are.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Mama Mia, & Burn After Reading.
What is your favorite place to vacation?: Backpacking through the world.
What is your favorite food?: Romanian food – takes me back to my childhood and culture every time.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Creating magical memories with my son.
Who lives in your house?: Little Mag (Magnus), and my partner and soul mate of 10 years plus – Jordan.
