Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: In my experience, birthing people do not receive the amount of support they deserve. Birth and becoming a parent is something that should be honored and given the proper support. I am so happy to be be able to provide these needed services.
What led you to become a Doula?: My personal postpartum experience was wonderful. Realizing that not everyone has that experience made me want to be part of the change for a better postpartum care experience.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
When I tell my friends and family about my journey to becoming a postpartum doula, I have gotten responses such as, “That’s what you did for me!” or “You will be so great at that!” or “You were definitely created to be a doula!”
