What led you to become a Doula?: My personal experiences in having a Doula present during the birth and delivery of my second child made all the difference. I felt in control of the situation, even when things took a turn for a c-section or as my third birth, a scheduled c-section, I felt heard by my Dr's due to my Doula encouraging to use my voice to ask questions and through the education and nurturing I received.
