Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I’ve been a labor/birth doula for over 5 years, prior to that I taught PreK for years so I have a lot of experience in a classroom setting as well.
What led you to become a Doula?: After getting pregnant with my first child, I started researching pregnancy and birth and just fell in love! Soon after, I took my first training!

What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: There are so many that I enjoy and recommend. “Guilt Free Bottle Feeding” is a great book I recommend as well as a few different podcasts such as “All About Pregnancy & Birth”
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: “I wonder how they’re doing?”
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The best gift I can give to new parents is unbiased, nonjudgmental support and a listening ear.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: The Office, hands down!
What is your favorite place to vacation?: New England
What is your favorite food?: Thai food
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: I enjoy going to the beach with my family or finding new, exciting places to eat!
Who lives in your house?: My husband, 3 children and during vacation times, my bonus son.
