Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am the oldest of 7 and my dream growing up was to become a labor and delivery nurse. After several years of working in different fields, I decided that the medical field was not for me. I realized that I enjoy supporting mothers through pregnancy and postpartum by how I showed up for my friends, when they had their babies. I realized that I love serving to help lighten the load for others, and that is how I came across doula work as a profession.
What led you to become a Doula?: It turns out that my passion is to support new mothers or families with multiples navigate bringing home their newest addition. I love to serve my friends, family and community in any way that I can, and I wouldn't be more blessed to serve mothers and their babies!
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
My mom friends always appreciate a random text, visit or phone call from me. They feel included and cared for. So being good company is something I value very much.
