Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a mom to an amazing little boy and girl. During their pregnancies all I wanted to do was research and learn everything I could about pregnancy, birth, and childcare. I have also done in home childcare as well as various other customer service based jobs.
What led you to become a Doula?: I discovered that feeling completely supported without bias can make a monumental difference in the way you feel about your birth.

I often get told that I am very sweet, intuitive, and compassionate.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I think to myself that she is doing an amazing job! If were having a conversation I will tell her that too and offer a listening ear.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Sometimes when your a new mom it can be nerve-wracking doing all these new things. I would encourage her and tell her she is doing great!
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: I have too many! Grimm, Once Upon A Time, Jane the Virgin, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Law and Order SVU, Walking Dead
What is your favorite place to vacation?: California! We are a Disney family and love going when we can!
What is your favorite food?: Chinese, Ice Cream, and Coffee. I know Coffee isn't a food but it might as well be. I need it to survive.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Any activity I can do with my family.
Who lives in your house?: I live with my husband Andy, our son Deen, and daughter Emma.
