Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been helping people all my life. I’ve worked as a medical assistant for years now and am ready to switch over to becoming a Doula. But in that time that I’ve worked as an medical assistant I have learned more and more about what people need and want. I’ve learned to listen, give advice, be compassionate, and help give a voice.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always loved helping others, and when found out about becoming a doula I loved the fact that I would be able to help mothers with their experience of bringing their babies into the world. Being able to make sure that they are not alone or frightened, making sure that all their questions are answered and making them feel more comfortable during this chapter in life makes it all the better.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: The first thing that comes to mind is AWWW how precious is that little baby or AWW that momma is so adorable.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Strength, compassion, and empowerment.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Grey's Anatomy
What is your favorite place to vacation?: Cruise to a tropical destination or a staycation.
What is your favorite food?: Gluten Free pasta with chicken
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Seeing my family or just relaxing at home.
