Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have worked as a CNA(certified nursing assistant) since December 2005. The last 4.5 years was spent in Women's Services at a local hospital helping with labor, postpartum, and NICU.
What led you to become a Doula?: I met a local doula when our unit at the hospital was going through layoffs. After talking with her for an hour, I felt this pull that doula work was the next logical step for me. I've had a passion to help other parents navigate the hardest part of parenthood.
