Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. This experience has given me the skills to navigate difficult situations, empathize, and truly meet people where they are at in any circumstance.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been a nurturing person that has sought to support others when and how I can. When the people I loved started their families I quickly found out that supporting them came naturally to me. When I learned about doula work I knew that’s what I wanted to do.
