Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: The only background I have right now is that I attended PD Labor Training.
What led you to become a Doula?: My first introduction to birth was when I attended my sister birth. I believe that day planted a seed in me. It was not until I personally went through pregnancy, labor, and birth that I knew that I wanted to be a doula.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Some positive comments made about me by other people is that I am wise, compassionate, powerful, have a gentle heart a leader and a passionate doula.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: The thoughts that come to mind when I see a pregnant person is I wonder how they are doing, they look so beautiful, what are their pregnancy cravings and I wonder if they are going to hire a doula. When I see someone with a brand new baby I think the baby is so cute and precious and I also wonder how the person is doing in the postpartum period.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The best gift I as a birth worker can give new parents is me being available.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Heartland, Super Girl, This is Us, Grey's Anatomy,
What is your favorite place to vacation?: My favorite place to vacation is anywhere where there is people who I can have fun with.
What is your favorite food?: Beans and Rice because its so versatile.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: I enjoy spending my day off with total attention to my family. I enjoy being a couch potato and binge watching tv shows, eating good food and catching up on deserved sleep.
