Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have spent many hours volunteering at hospitals and birth centers around the state of North Carolina. However, I have found my most meaningful work thus far has been through the UNC Hospitals Birth Partners program, where I was given the opportunity to serve individuals and families who otherwise may not have had access to the support of a doula.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been interested in birth work. Growing up, I envisioned myself being on the medical side of labor and delivery. I now know that my best support is given through the role of a birth and postpartum doula.

People would say that I am nurturing, empathetic, and energetic!
