Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. I am a DONA International trained Birth Doula. I am also trained in HIPAA privacy protection act, certified in OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1090.1030 and SafeStaff Food handler certification for my Placenta Encapsulation service.
What led you to become a Doula?: One of the most important things I have learned in my professional growth is that people's needs are not just physical but also emotional and mental. My own pregnancies, birth and postpartum experiences had a lot to do with helping me find a focused purpose for my passion is serving people especially women.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Doing absolutely anything with my 2 girls and my husband.
Who lives in your house?: My 2 toddlers, my husband and our black and white (tuxedo) cat, Ginger.
