Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Prior to my work as a doula, I was a music teacher and then a student mentor. These jobs taught me how to listen intently!
What led you to become a Doula?: A friend invited me as a support person to her birth. I was captivated by the experience! She encouraged me to consider doula work because she thought it was a perfect fit for my skill set. She was right. The more I do this work, the more I love it.
