Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a ferociously empathic, incredibly adaptable, and highly intuitive human. These traits, coupled with my love for all things bodies, bodily health and function make me a highly skilled Doula. I love supporting families through such a transformative time in their lives.
What led you to become a Doula?: I grew up hearing stories about my birth. The 70+ hours, the walking and walking and walking, and the sweet support of friends and midwife. This story always intrigued me but I didn't think I would go to medical school, so I wrote off pursuing birth work until a few years ago when I was introduced to Doula support. I have been training for this work my whole life. In my doula practice, I provide intuitive empathic care, specializing in fierce advocacy, transparent conversations, and perceptive encouragement.
