Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My background working as a nanny has given me the experience to work with different families. Working specifically with new newborns is what inspired me to be a postpartum doula.
What led you to become a Doula?: Working as a nanny I started to realize that as the kids grew up I missed them as babies and notice that I really enjoyed caring for babies; I feel a connection to them. It is also rewarding to support the mother on this new transition.

Positive comments others have said about me: I am caring, sweet, easy to talk to and have a big heart.
What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: Some of my favorite resources are: focusonthefamily.com., empoweringparents.com, babycenter.com and Parents magazine.
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: When I see a new mom I feel excited about this new chapter in her life; I hope she had a strong support system during her pregnancy and afterwards.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The best gift I can give a new mother is non-judgemental unconditional support.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: My favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast and favorite TV show is Game of Thrones.
What is your favorite place to vacation?: My favorite place to vacation is the beach and I love New York City!
What is your favorite food?: My favorite food is Italian.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: A couple of my favorite ways to spend my day off is going to the spa and spending time with my friends.
Who lives in your house?: I live with my best friend and her daughter whom I known since she was a baby.
