Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Hope has worked as a Birth and Postpartum Doula in the Lexington area since 2017. Hope loves working alongside her clients to help them have the most positive birth experience possible. Hope has also been a professional Yoga Instructor since 2012 and holds certifications in Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga, as well as her 200hr Yoga Alliance RYT and additional certifications in Yin Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
What led you to become a Doula?: Hope has been interested in birth work since childhood and feels that this work is a natural outpouring of her natural compassion and supportive tendencies. Working as a daycare teacher and nanny gave her insight into the world of parenting and families, and continued work with pregnant and postpartum clients in yoga classes led her to Doula work.

What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Non-judgmental support!
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Call the Midwife
What is your favorite place to vacation?: Savannah, GA or San Diego, CA
What is your favorite food?: Anything you can make out of a potato, or pasta, or pizza... basically carbs.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Hiking, visiting a new coffee shop, chilling in a hammock, or taking a yoga class!
Who lives in your house?: Me, my husband Daniel, my dog Ouachita, and soon our baby!
