Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am former Emergency Medical Technician, I graduated from Gwinnett Technical College. I have always had a passion in pregnancy and assisting mothers in the process of labor.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been drawn to pregnancy and labor. I attended my first birth at 14. I enjoyed being able to support someone going through such an amazing time in their life. When I work as a Emergency Medical Technician I frequently had Ob/gyn calls and patients. I believe I am naturally drawn to the doula field.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
My peers and co workers speak of my kind and patient personality. Some have said I am passionate and wise woman as well.
