Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a Doula since 2012 and have helped many families along the way. I have trained through multiple organizations and am a Certified Hypno-Doula (The Curtis Method). I have been apart of and led community birth and pregnancy groups and also organized and hosted the Rally to Improve Birth (Provo - 2015).
What led you to become a Doula?: When pregnant with my second I ended up hiring a doula to help me have a better birthing experience. I labored so fast that my doula arrived 20 minutes after having my sweet little girl. However, the knowledge and confidence she gave me was enough to have an amazing birth. She put a spark in me and it's never left.
