Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Gender Studies in college, specializing in Trauma survivors. Did social work with women for 2 years. Lead community organization and La Leche League leader.
What led you to become a Doula?: During my birth and postpartum, my own vulnerability and intense need for community shocked me. So I began working to build local communities teach about birth, and support them.

What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The ability to believe in herself, trust her instincts, and how to reach out and find her own tribe.
