Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I came to birth work after the births of my own children. My training led me to Uganda, where I learned to be a labor doula at Shanti Uganda, a birth center in Kasana, Uganda. I have attended many births in the states, in hospitals and birth centers. I love child birth education and the transformative process of labor.
What led you to become a Doula?: I love child birth education and the transformative process of labor.

Here is a client review: I have always known that if I were ever to be pregnant I would want a doula to be my voice, my motivation and another female to support me through one of the most challenging yet beautiful moments in my life.
After meeting Julia over zoom (covid) I knew she was the person. My birth was done naturally which I strongly credit Julia for. Her support during the laboring process gave me strength to continue. Natural or not having someone to support you is worth every penny.
Hands down the best investment I made. She is wonderful!
