Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: A lot of my friends have had children and I have always been there to support them. I am also a teacher at a daycare and is currently working in the nursery. This job has taught me so much about babies and also patience and being calm in stressful situations.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have had a long interest in pregnancy and birth. In college it grew stronger but it wasn't until I had my daughter in 2017 that made it hit home. I had a good support system and I want that for everyone. I knew women that didn't have a good support system and didn't have a great birth. Having a child is an amazing experience and I want everyone to have the best experience that they are able to.
