Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently working in the field of Maternal Child Health in a local hospital network. I am a proud mom of three children and a previous gestational surrogate for twins, as well as a dual certified Labor and Postpartum and Infant Care Doula. I have experienced (both personally and professionally) the highs and lows of pregnancy and the postpartum period, and my goal is to ensure that no one feels alone or lost during that experience.

What led you to become a Doula?: I have always loved and appreciated pregnancy, and the miracles that are created through the process. I have always been drawn to work with pregnancy and children and truly feel like I found my calling supporting women.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

People always comment on my heart, and the true love I have for pregnancy and babies/children. I have always been the person that is turned to in difficult times, and it just “made sense” for me to continue this as a professional. The saying “when you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life,” is how people describe me and I am beyond honored to live that truth.
