Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Having birthed two of my own children and navigated the postpartum period prepared me for the ability to help others. My training with Pro Doula helped to fine tune some of the skills that I already had. And working with several different clients over the the last three years has given me many opportunities to expand my knowledge in postpartum care. I plan to continue leaning new skills so that I can be a benefit to all future clients.

What led you to become a Doula?: I enjoyed both of my own pregnancies and postpartum time. I wanted to be able to help others succeed and enjoy their time as well.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I have been told that my presence is calming and helpful. I have made what could be a very stressful time feel more comfortable. I am a good listener, supportive and nurturing.
