Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). While working in the community, I noticed a strong correlation between the amount of postpartum support my clients had and their success in reaching their breastfeeding goals. I decided that I wanted to support my clients beyond just breastfeeding. Becoming a Postpartum and Infant Care Doula allows me to give my clients the comprehensive postpartum support that they deserve.
