Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I've been a caregiver my entire life as the oldest of 5 children and regular nanny for families in my community growing up. When I decided to enter the birth world, I became certified through ProDoula as a Labor Doula and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula. I have experience supporting diverse birth experiences including adoption circumstances, and I've supported families during the day and overnight as a postpartum doula.
What led you to become a Doula?: I've always gravitated towards supporting families. I began to notice how often expecting parents are met with overwhelming information, opinions, and advice - I wanted to be the opposite of this. I became a doula to help parents find their voice and inner strength.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
