Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have completed multiple trainings before finding my home with ProDoula. I completed a year long internship as a Midwife Assistant and Labor Doula, where I learned a lot about birth and true unbiased support. I have supported un-medicated, medicated, and cesarean births. I have enjoyed working in such varied environments like clients homes, hospitals, and birth centers. Each offering valuable and special training to me during those occasions. I pride myself on having great relationships with care providers and staff where ever I go.
What led you to become a Doula?: I became interested in birth work after supporting a friend through their labor. Once I saw how much she needed support and reassurance I knew it was what I wanted to do. To help birthing people feel confident and heard during their labors and beyond.
