What led you to become a Doula?: Dating back to my maternal great grandmother (and likely before!)- the women in my family who raised me have all supported new parents and their infants in some capacity. I believe that because of this I naturally gravitated towards supporting birthing people, babies and their families throughout my medical career which has now shifted into doula work. I also come from a family of educators and in turn always have enjoyed educating and training.

Clients and families often describe my support as thoughtful, engaging, and comprehensive. My caring and grounded nature has made clients feel supported and listened to, even through challenging or unexpected circumstances. Providers and other birth professionals often comment on my professionalism, creativity and positive energy.
