Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: OB/GYN RN with 30 years of Women and infant care. My skills are built on experiences in Ambulatory/Office, Hospital (Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and Labor Delivery), and Private & Classroom setting. My career experience as a Nurse greatly compliments my ability to provide Full Spectrum Doula Services and Evidence Based information, with knowledge and compassion for individualized support.
What led you to become a Doula?: Everyone should have a strong circle of support, healthy bonds, and reliable resources.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I Hope they take lots of pictures, hold on tight to never miss a minute, and remember to reach out for help when they need to. Lesson learned:we are not perfect and we DO make mistakes. "You Are doing a great job!"
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Confidence and an invitation to have someone in "their back pocket".
