Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I was a Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA) for almost two years. I worked in a room with children 6 weeks to 18 months old following a learning curriculum and helping with drop off and pick up. During my time working as a CYPA I earned my Child Development Associates.
What led you to become a Doula?: What truly led me to birth work was my daughter. I’ve always loved everything about pregnancy and birth but once I gave birth to my daughter a whole new passion for blossomed. I want to help other mamas and families transition during such an intimate time and ensure you have the best possible experience.

What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: Fellow mamas and friends.
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I get so excited for them to meet their little one(s)! I instantly want to chat with them about all things mama and baby and make sure they’re getting the support that they need.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: The support and encouragement that they’re doing the best for them and their baby.

What is your favorite place to vacation?: Ireland
What is your favorite food?: Deep fried pickles
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Snuggling with my little girl and spending time with my hubby.
Who lives in your house?: My husband, daughter, our Husky and myself.
