Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Nobashea is a 42 year old mother of 3 from P.G. County Maryland. She went to University of Maryland majoring in psychology and attended Northern Virginia School of Massage therapy. She was a board member for Charles County Commission on Individuals with Disabilities Board 2005-2012. She is a Yoni Practitioner, Massage Therapist, and Reiki Practitioner she considers herself a naturally gifted empath and intuitive; she has committed her life to being a healer of the heart, mind, body, and soul.
What led you to become a Doula?: Nobashea began her path as a Doula at an early age by assisting her mother and cousins through birthing and postpartum. Her own birthing and postpartum experiences with her first born child, ignited a passion within her that lead her to want to support others. In 2018 Nobashea decided to pursue her path by taking on birth and postpartum clients. As well as emotional and physical support, advocacy, and guidance. Nobashea provides compassionate support to her clients to help you feel safe and empowered in a non judgement environment. “My sole purpose is to inspire, elevate, and love on a level beyond mundane.” Specialities: Postpartum Perineal Care, Breastfeeding, Womb Wellness, Preemies and NICU Families, and individuals with special needs and or developmental delays. Language: Fluent English and I know minimal (Basics) ASL Covid-19 vaccinated
