Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Professional Doula CEO of CDVision, LLC. Independent Contractor with Atlanta Family Doulas agency. Doula mentee of InnerLight Holistic Sojourner Mentorship program.
What led you to become a Doula?: The tragic Kira Johnson story which led to the creation of the 4Kira4moms foundation. The coverage on this foundation brought about an awareness of the maternal mortality crisis in the BIPOC community. I have always loved being a mother, considered an Aunty to many, and valued my maternal instincts. I learned of the doula career and this gave me an instant passion to delve into the certification programs.
