Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I had postpartum depression after the birth of my children. I worked it out on my own which had led me to do a ton of research. I am constantly looking for more ways to better my knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, and the delicate time after.
What led you to become a Doula?: After finding out how to battle postpartum depression, I was introduced to all of the options for births. I was quite intrigued by doulas and what they do. I have since seen the need for a doula in my area and want to provide support in the mothers’ choice.
