Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My family took in foster care infants throughout my teenage years. This gave me experience and a love of taking care of babies. I find myself drawn to women who are pregnant and those who have babies. I have been a source of support and knowledge for many of my friends over the years. I have one child of my own and have been a special educator for more than 15 years.
What led you to become a Doula?: New mothers need support, and I enjoy providing that support.

What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: I am eager to support and educate new parents.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Confidence is the best gift I can give new parents.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Grey's Anatomy
What is your favorite place to vacation?: Mountains, beach, doesn't matter, as long as I'm on vacation!
What is your favorite food?: Enchiladas
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: My favorite way to spend the day off is at the playground with my son.
Who lives in your house?: I live with my school-aged son.
