Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been around babies all my life. I have worked in nurseries and have babysat growing up. As a mom, I can relate to what new parents are thinking, feeling and experiencing.
What led you to become a Doula?: I believe it was the moment that I saw my very first video of a birth when I was 8 years old. I didn't get grossed out. I began screaming out tips to help improve comfort. From then on I knew this was what I was meant to do.

What are your favorite pregnancy/parenting resources?: Family, friends, my own instincts. Baby Center, American Pregnancy Association, & CDC-Child Development.
What thoughts come to mind when you see a pregnant woman or brand new mom?: EXCITEMENT! I get an overwhelming feeling of happiness. All I want to do is love up on them.
What is the best gift you can give a new mom (as a Doula)?: Non-judgemental support!
What is your favorite TV show or movie?: Grey's Anatomy
What is your favorite place to vacation?: Europe, especially Italy
What is your favorite food?: Gourmet Chinese food
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?: Relaxing with my family.
Who lives in your house?: Husband, daughter and cat.
