Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My 30-year career as a body-centered and mindfulness-based psychotherapist, gave me a wealth of knowledge and experience that translates beautifully into empowering women to discover their innate mothering wisdom. My skill set also makes me a valuable resource for clients at risk for postpartum depression. My nurturing and grounded presence is reassuring to clients adjusting to postpartum challenges and my unbiased, compassionate approach supports women to discover how best to meet their needs and those of their families.
What led you to become a Doula?: I've had a lifelong passion for creatively counseling women and families which has inspired me to pursue certification as a professional postpartum doula.
