Background & experience
I've always felt called to support others during life’s most meaningful moments, and birth is one of the most powerful experiences a person can go through. My background includes supporting families through both everyday challenges and big transitions, which has helped me learn how to stay calm, present, and nurturing in emotional and high-pressure situations. I truly value connection, and I bring a warm, grounded presence to the families I support. Whether it’s offering reassurance, sharing knowledge, or simply holding space, I’m passionate about making people feel seen, heard, and cared for during such a vulnerable and transformative time. I have completed three doula trainings/certifications since starting my doula journey in 2015.
What led me to become a Doula
When I was seven years old my nephew was born. I was lucky to be in the room for that birth and my other neices and nephews. I found this passion at a young age. As I learned more about different kind of births, my interest grew stronger and once I learned what a birth doula was, I knew that was what I was meant to do.
