What led me to become a Doula
I was drawn to birth as a small child during the homebirths of my cousins and then again as a teenager when my siblings were born. I went on to have three children of my own and when the youngest was not quite a year I read a newspaper article about Doulas. I ripped it out and took the next training (1998) and have never looked back. Since then I have attended over 1500 births and taught & prepared 1000’s of families for their births.
