Meet Our Doula
Background & experience
I am a Certified Birth Doula, as well as a Certified Postpartum and Newborn Care Specialist. For the last 7 years, I have helped women birth in hospitals, birthing centers and at home! My biggest goal as a doula is to ensure you feel supported throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey. In addition, I am a certified breastfeeding counselor, lactation consultant, and a licensed massage therapist of 15 years.
What led me to become a Doula
I fell in love with the idea of helping women birth their babies after having Ovarian Cancer, and having a total hysterectomy. Although I was no longer able to physically have any more children, I realized so many women lack the support they need to bring their babies into this world and my hope is that I can provide that support to you and help you achieve a positive birth and postpartum experience.
