Professional Membership with ProDoula is required when taking the following trainings:

  • Labor Doula
  • Postpartum & Infant Care Doula
  • Infant Feeding Specialist
  • Placenta Prep
  • Childbirth Education

Member benefits include the ability to retake any in-person training previously attended as a ProDoula Alumni.

NOTE: Your certification with ProDoula is dependent on your active membership. A lapsed membership will result in an invalid certification. For that reason, your mailed certificate will indicate validity until the date that your current membership is scheduled to expire.

You may renew your certificate when you renew your membership. When you do so, you will receive an updated certificate for your business use. Proof of valid doula certification is becoming mandatory at many hospitals and birth centers nationally.

Choose Lifetime Membership – this will insure your certification is never in jeopardy of  expiring. By choosing Lifetime Membership with ProDoula, you will be a certified doula for your entire life and your certification will have no expiration date on it.
