Meet Your Doula Trainer

Teri is a Certified Elite Labor Doula, Postpartum & Infant Care Trainer with a passion for supporting families and mentoring the next generation of birth workers. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an MBA, Teri brings both heart and strategy to her work—blending emotional intelligence with practical expertise to serve families and doulas
alike.

Becoming a doula was a second career for Teri, but one she describes as a true calling. Her journey began after caring for friends abroad and witnessing the abundance of support and resources available to birthing families. Inspired to create that same level of care and preparation at home, she committed herself to building a space where birthing people feel heard, held, educated, and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

Teri is deeply committed to connecting families with trusted resources and ensuring they feel confident and supported during one of life’s most transformative seasons. Equally passionate about mentorship, she works to guide new doulas with the same compassion, respect, and intentional care she offers her clients, helping them grow into skilled, confident professionals who will serve future families with excellence.

Outside of her work, Teri is a dedicated mom, often found driving her two kids to their many sporting events. She loves spending time outdoors, caring for animals, riding her horse, and immersing herself in nature whenever possible.
