Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a mother of five children and one sweet grandson, I am also an Army Veteran with 12 years of service with a Bachelor's in Human Resources Management and a Master's Degree in Project Management. I have always had a strong passion for supporting people and nurturing them through life's transitions, I started my Doula Journey back in 2013 working as a Hospital based Doula, I attended several births throughout that journey to include being able to support clients in the operating room for caesarean deliveries. I have since recertified through ProDoula as a Labor Doula and a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula.

What led you to become a Doula?: Supporting and connecting with clients through pregnancy, labor and postpartum is such an empowering experience and is my driving force. The best part of Doula work is that I never stop learning new things each experience is different, each client has unique needs and it is my goal to meet my clients where they are at and to provide them with the best support possible to fit their needs.
