Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Any and everything baby. I started babysitting when I was 9 years old, I was the middle of 6, so taking care of children was easy for me. As I got older, my little side jobs turned into a passion and now my career. I was babysitting, nannying, you name it, i did it. Having these experiences really boosted my knowledge and gave me tons of insight towards infants and many different roles of parenting.

What led you to become a Doula?: Postpartum depression really is what led me to this. Postpartum is often not talked about, the feelings are shoved inside because why should a mom feel like this, she has a new baby. It deserves to be heard, these parents deserve to feel these emotions. I want to help them recognize this and normalize it.
