Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I'm a social worker by day and forever learner by night. I have been to three live births, and I love to learn from my mentor and other Doulas in the area.

What led you to become a Doula?: Due to the mortality rate of Black and Brown women during birth. I wanted to help change those statistics and become a part of the solution. I want to reverse those negative stats and create a beautiful birthing experience for all women.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I’m dependable and empathic. Easygoing and able to adapt to changes quickly. Think outside of the box and creates a positive atmosphere for all. Approachable, knowledgeable, and very down to earth.
