Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: During my undergrad I interned at a NICU follow up clinic. During this time I learned a lot about babies pre and postnatally. I also learned the needs and worries of families leaving the NICU. My undergrad degree is in psychology and throughout that time I took many child and lifespan development courses helping me understand not only babies but birthing people as well.
What led you to become a Doula?: After having an amazing experience using a doula the birth of my second child I knew this was my calling. I wanted to help birthing people feel heard, seen, loved and empowered in their choices.
