Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a mother of five and have been a birth doula for almost 10 years. As a Canadian ex pat, who has been living in Israel for over 20 years, I'm in a unique position to help women from English speaking countries to successfully maneuver the very different Israeli system, overcome language barriers and have the positive birth they dream of. I strive to combine the most up to date, evidenced based information, support techniques, professionalism, experience and warm care at every birth, and in every class.

What led you to become a Doula?: My first two births were difficult and stressful, as I was uneducated and unsupported, young and didn't understand the language or the system. For my third birth, I took a doula and had a totally different experience - positive, empowering, and exhilarating. I became passionate about bringing top notch doula care, up to date education, and an empowered, positive view of birth to my community.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
