Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University
What led you to become a Doula?: I had an interest in it long before I even became a nurse or doula. At a young age my mother always talked about birth as a very positive empowering experience as a woman. I knew one day I would find myself in the role of supporting women during the perinatal period and ultimately began that journey after my second child was born.
