Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been working with children and families since I was 16. I adore families. I have personal experience with infertility, grief, and anxiety. Those parts of my story have helped me have more empathy for others.
What led you to become a Doula?: While I'm fascinated with hospitals and the medical side of things, my deepest desire is for women and families to feel supported, heard, and validated. Birth work become a natural fit for that.
